Lewis Hemphill
Pastor Lewis was born in the house of two preachers in Milwaukee. In spite of his church upbringing he chose the street life in search of the fast lane and its fast rewards. While still a teenager he was addicted to parties, clubs, alcohol, marijuana and even found himself involved in organized crime to support his high costly lifestyle. Within the blink of an eye, at the age of 17, he was a statistic in the Texas Prison System. While incarcerated and facing 35 years in prison God sent a cell mate to share with him that life is not over. At that moment Godly sorrow came in his heart, he repented of his sins and he accepted Christ. In spite of facing the fact that he would serve time in prison, he continued to grow in his relationship with God.
After being released from prison after almost four years, Pastor Lewis hit the ground running telling all who wanted to listen that God is a God of second chances. Soon after his release God began to divinely order his steps to connect with men and women of God all over Dallas who would help groom and mentor him for the call God had placed on his life. One mentor drafted him into his college ministry called C.A.M.P.U.S. Life. During his time of service, Lewis served as leader of the Evangelism Division and led weekend evangelism trips to local college campuses all over Dallas/Ft. Worth in addition to being part of weekly on-campus bible studies.
Pastor Lewis was privileged to serve as the Youth Pastor and Director of Planning of Koinonia Christian Church in Arlington. Outside the four walls Lewis has been a Faith-Based Mentor with the Texas Youth Commission were he mentored troubled teens after they had been released from the juvenile system. He has totally dedicated his life to reaching souls at all costs. He states “When I was young and lost God sent someone to my rescue, the least I can do is let God use me to rescue someone else”. Pastor Lewis is currently completing his degree at Dallas Christian College. He is married to the beautiful Gospel artist Dana Hemphill and they enjoy working for the Lord as a tag team ministry. They have one daughter, Hailey.

Dana Hemphill
Dana, the daughter of a singing evangelist and a faithful choir member, was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. Losing her father at the age of 10 caused her to search for love and acceptance in all the wrong places. At the age of 15 she was associated with gangs, dabbling with selling drugs and living a lifestyle that was contrary to how she was raised. At 16 years old she became pregnant and later experienced a miscarriage. Major depression took the forefront in her life and she dropped out of high school. At the lowest point in her life she knew she had to call on God. It was in that state that she accepted Christ in her life. She returned to school and graduated on time by attending day and night school.
At the ripe age of 21 God sent out a clarion call unto Dana saying “leave your family and move to the big city of Dallas, Texas and allow me to prepare you for a greater work”. She has opened up and shared the stage with John P. Kee, Kim Burrell, Vickie Winans, Fred Hammond, Dr. Rance Allen, Dorinda Clark-Cole, David & Tamela Mann, Myron Butler and many more.
In 2012 she starred in her first Gospel music stage play “The Replacement Wife” directed by National Playwright/Director, Latterras Whitfield. Her co-stars included Gospel music sensation Shirley Murdock and Tommy Ford (Martin Lawrence Show). In 2013 she starred in another Gospel music stage play “Just Like Yo Daddy”. Her co-stars included Terri J. Vaughn (Steve Harvey Show & Tyler Perry’s Meet The Browns) and Christian Keyes (BET’s Let’s Stay Together & Tyler Perry’s Madea Goes To Jail). During the Christmas season of 2013 she co-starred in “Christmas N Da Hood” with Palmer Willimiams (Tyler Perry’s House of Payne & Love Thy Neighbor) and Tony Grant (Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married).
Dana had the privelage to serve as the Director of Worship of Koinonia Christian Church in Arlington. Her debut album was nationally released through digital distribution October 19, 2013. Dana has one daughter, Hailey, and enjoys working with Pastor Lewis as a tag team ministry.
